Job Description:

Snelling has immediate openings for Medical Assistants in Elizabethtown/Bowling Green, KY. This position will be responsible for promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients and staff. The Medical Assistant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Scheduling patient appointments
• Take vitals, and assist with patient evaluations
• Check patients in/out, monitor patient flow
• Call in patient medication
• Input accurate information into electronic health record
• Receive cash collections and verification of benefits

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• High School diploma required
• 1-3 years as a medical assistant
• Phlebotomy and lab experience preferred
• Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assisting preferred
