Pay Rate: $17.00/ Hr. – $20.00/ Hr., with quick advancement opportunities.

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: (32 hours / week)
Monday and Thursday, 9:00 am. – 5:30 pm.

Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 am. – 3:30 pm.

Off Wednesdays

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant in Louisville, KY. The Medical Assistant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Vitals / Lab Tests
• Updating medical records
• Assisting providers
• Maintain patient areas with daily sanitation and supply restock.
• Process lab specimens obtained by provider.
• Patient education

Medical Assistant Requirements and Skills:

• At least 1 -2 years’ experience with MA.
• Does not have to be certified MA.
• High School Diploma or higher degree
• Knowledge of HIPAA
• Medical Terminology
• Vital Signs
• Walking or standing long periods of time
• Frequent use of computers and telephones
• Heavy lifting may be required when assisting patients on exam tables, wheelchairs, etc.
