1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (overtime every other Friday)

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Heavy-Duty Assembler in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for physically assembling large, heavy components by utilizing hand tools and power tools. The Assembler should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Following detailed assembly instructions to accurately build major lift components such as chassis, platforms, and boom arms.
• Using hand tools like wrenches, sockets, drills, and pneumatic tools to fasten parts securely.
• Lifting and positioning heavy components with assistance from lifting equipment or teammates.
• Performing sub-assembly tasks as needed.

Assembler Requirements:

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects regularly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of basic mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams.
• Hand Tool Proficiency: Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high quality standards in assembly process.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them strictly.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check required.
