Mid Shift: Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Cherry Picker Operator in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for picking items and preparing for shipment. The Cherry Picker Operator, should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Fulfills the duties and responsibilities of Shipping & Receiving.
• Pull orders and stock inventory daily.
• Ship daily with UPS, FedEx, LTL, LCL, and LTL.
• Source and provide rate quotes to sales
• Provide shipment weights & dimensions for bookings.
• Prepare paperwork for LTL and export shipments.
• Responsible for accuracy of shipments and receiving
• Load and off-load of trucks and containers by hand and by forklift
• Light assembly and packaging as needed.
• Work with Management, Supervisor, Production Lead, as needed.
• Quality assurance responsibilities

Cherry Picker Operator Requirements:

• 1+ years of Cherry Picker Operator experience
• Experience with UPS systems
• Forklift experience and certified preferred
• Physical requirements to stand/walk eight hours a day and lift up to 75 pounds
