Overview: Snelling Medical Staffing is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Department Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations within a specialized women’s imaging department. This role requires a licensed Mammography Technologist with strong leadership experience, a passion for patient care, and the ability to drive clinical quality and compliance standards in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring smooth workflow, quality patient care, and compliance with all regulatory standards
• Supervise and support imaging staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and ongoing training
• Coordinate scheduling, approve time-off requests, and manage department timecards and payroll
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance protocols
• Collaborate with the Executive Director, HR Director, and radiologists to maintain high standards of care, staffing, and compliance
• Oversee accreditation efforts and ensure all imaging services meet the latest clinical guidelines and governing body standards
• Address and resolve patient concerns and grievances with professionalism and compassion
• Stay current on imaging technologies, trends, and continuing education opportunities
• Prepare reports, analyze departmental data, and present findings as requested
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and serve as a liaison between department staff and leadership
• Perform QA/QC responsibilities as needed and step in as an Imaging Technologist when required

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Mammography (required)
• Associate’s Degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology
• 3–5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in mammography
• 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical setting
• ISCD certification (preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of imaging regulations, compliance, and accreditation processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and assist patients throughout the workday
• Manual dexterity and coordination to operate imaging equipment and position patients properly
