Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Medical Scheduler in Louisville, KY. This position is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing provider schedules, and ensuring exceptional service delivery within a busy healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations when needed.

• Coordinate with clinical teams to manage provider calendars efficiently.

• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.

• Update and maintain accurate patient information in electronic health records (EHR).

• Assist with billing inquiries, co-pay collections, and documentation support.

• Maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor with all patients and staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical scheduling or a similar administrative healthcare role.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.

• Proficient in EHR and scheduling systems.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
