Job Description:

Snelling is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for an immediate opening in Louisville, KY. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a dynamic and supportive work environment within the medical industry. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing for medical services. You will collaborate with medical staff, process insurance claims, and handle patient account inquiries. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while adhering to all compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process billing for medical services.
• Review and submit insurance claims with accuracy and within designated timelines.
• Reconcile billing issues and resolve any discrepancies.
• Work directly with patients and insurance companies to clarify billing-related questions.
• Stay current with healthcare regulations and billing compliance standards.
• Assist with general administrative duties related to billing and accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in medical billing or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with medical billing software and insurance claim processing is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
