HR, Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Location: Louisville, KY

Schedule: Full-Time | On-site

Industry: Manufacturing

Compensation: $25.00/hr. (plus depending on experience) Full benefits package

Snelling is hiring an experienced HR, Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support a well-established manufacturing company. This role offers a dynamic mix of payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HR support in a high-paced, people-focused environment. Ideal for someone who thrives on detail, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll (ADP):

  • Process accurate  bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees
  • Maintain payroll data: deductions, benefit premiums, salary changes
  • Final pay processing & compliance for terminations
  • Run and review payroll reports; ensure accuracy before submission
  • Support general ledger updates and payroll-related reporting

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401(k), COBRA
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefit status changes
  • Handle leave of absence and disability claims (FMLA, personal, medical)
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve enrollment issues
  • Communicate benefit options clearly to employees

Human Resources:

  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and I-9 compliance
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (ADP)
  • Support recruitment activities and job postings
  • Respond to HR inquiries and assist with employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
  • Assist with reporting (EEO-1, CMS, surveys), verifications, and audits
  • Coordinate company events and milestone recognitions

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years in payroll, benefits, and general HR (manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficient in ADP, Excel, Word, and related systems
  • Knowledge of federal/state labor laws
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
