Job Description:

Snelling Staffing has an immediate opening for an Accounting Representative in a hybrid role. This position is ideal for candidates with strong QuickBooks Online experience, an accounting background, and a passion for client service. The Accounting Representative will be responsible for client onboarding, bookkeeping, payroll, and supporting tax and strategy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client onboarding, system setup, and QuickBooks Online training

• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting

• Assist with payroll processing and vendor bill payments

• Prepare and file sales & use tax returns

• Support new business registrations and entity setup

• Coordinate scheduling and execution of tax strategies

• Maintain KPIs, track client progress, and ensure timely service delivery

• Act as client liaison for document collection, updates, and issue resolution

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred

• 3+ years of QuickBooks Online experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting

• Real estate accounting experience a plus

• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, CRMs, and project management tools (e.g., Asana)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or client support required

• Training/mentoring experience is a plus
