Job Overview:
Snelling Staffing is hiring a Product Test & Demonstration Supervisor in Louisville, KY. This role is key in overseeing the setup and maintenance of rental equipment and collaborating with Project Engineers to prepare, conduct, and analyze tests. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives independently and can lead a team effectively. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage test materials (receive, control, return, dispose).
• Act as the Laboratory Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Coordinator.
• Supervise Lab and Rental Technicians, ensuring testing and equipment maintenance standards are met.
• Train Lab Technicians, Rental Technicians, and Co-op students.
• Handle electrical wiring for PLCs, controllers, motors, and other 3-phase components.
• Maintain a well-stocked lab for ongoing needs.
• Provide technical support for all rental and testing equipment.
• Oversee the repair, maintenance, and upgrades of test and rental equipment.
• Prepare and manage trade show equipment (shipping, setup, maintenance).
• Step into Lab Technician or Rental Technician roles as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements for Product Test & Demonstration Supervisor:

• Minimum of a 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience with mechanical and electrical systems is required.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with both mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Familiarity with controllers, control valves, transmitters, and process instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with other departments, sales representatives, and clients.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience with forklift and crane operations.
• Ability to mentor and train other technicians and co-ops.
• A sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
