Position:  Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location:   Louisville, KY

Schedule:  Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay:    $25.00 – $28.00/hour (based on experience)

Type:  Temp-to-Hire

Overview: We  are seeking a reliable and skilled  Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the team at a well-maintained apartment community. The ideal candidate will have a strong general knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance of furnaces and water heaters. While electrical expertise is not required, basic HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property
• Address plumbing issues, including unclogging drains and repairing leaks
• Conduct minor carpentry work, including drywall patching and door repairs
• Maintain and troubleshoot furnaces and water heaters
• Perform general inspections and respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Collaborate with property management and other staff to maintain high-quality living conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in apartment or facilities maintenance
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems
• Basic carpentry and mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with HVAC systems (preferred, not required)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Must be dependable, professional, and customer service oriented
