Inventory Control Coordinator

Location:  Louisville, KY

Pay: $20/hr.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Assignment: Contract (up to 90 days, no guarantee of hire)

Overview: Snelling Staffing is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for a warehouse distribution facility in the Louisville area. This is a great opportunity for someone with inventory experience in a warehouse environment who can work independently, accurately, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Count and record stock levels of materials, equipment, and merchandise

• Compare physical inventory to office records; investigate discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement

• Prepare reports such as weekly cycle counts, inventory balances, and production breakdowns

• Review and act on daily inventory reports

• Monitor product rotation and recommend adjustments

• Maintain inventory shrink within company standards

• Identify and document depleted or unusable items

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of inventory experience in a warehouse setting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use

• Strong math and communication skills

• Ability to work the scheduled hours and any required overtime

• Capable of standing, walking, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift

• Able to lift up to 90 lbs. depending on department

• Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry)

• Must pass a drug test and background check

Preferred:

• 1+ year experience in food safety within a warehouse distribution environment

• 1+ year experience in food distribution

• Equipment experience: pallet jack, forklift, reach truck
