1st Shift:  Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations, tracking orders and managing shipping documents. The Logistics Coordinator should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Using software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
• Managing all important documents such as, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
• Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment.
• Route all shipments either via LTL, Truck Load, or small package
• Act as a backup on the phones when other team members are out or on a call
• Act as a backup on order entry when other team members are out

Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

• 2-3 years previous Logistics/Shipping experience
• Bill of Lading experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
