Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Property Maintenance Technician in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for performing, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on building equipment and systems.
Exterior building upkeep and maintenance. The Property Maintenance Technician should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

Perform general maintenance and repairs
Ø Possess competent knowledge of use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and      ground maintenance.
Ø Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
Ø Maintain and operate life safety/fire systems.
Ø Assist with snow removal when necessary
Ø Replace light bulbs/lamps and clean fixtures.
Ø Perform plumbing repairs which do not require a license
Ø Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns.
Ø Ability to be “on-call” for after-hours and weekend emergencies
Ø Computer aptitude required for security access systems and work order systems
Ø Comply with all applicable codes. Regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as relates to building operations

Property Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+years related experience in maintenance environment.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC,
electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing,
carpentry, or engine repair.
• Transportation required.
• Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
• Duties require frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop,
climb and reach. May require shift work
