CNC Lathe Machinist/ Programmer


Snelling Staffing is now hiring CNC Machinist to operate and program CNC Machines.  This is a full-time opportunity M-F 6:30am-2:30pm. 

Pay: $16-$23/Hour 

Responsibilities for the CNC Lathe Machinist/ Programmer:

  • Program and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks
  • Read blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
  • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
  • Supervise the machines
  • Inspect and measure finished products
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Qualifications for the CNC Lathe Machinist/ Programmer:

  • Experience as CNC Lathe Machinist/ Programmer and operator
  • Minimum of 2 yrs experience
  • Skill in operating CNC Lathe machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • Programming knowledge is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Must have Steel toes shoes/boots
  • Must have reiable transportation no busline
  • High school diploma or GED

Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays
