Mortgage Disclosure Specialist

$14.50 per hour
Temp to hire, Full time, M – F

Responsibilities of the Mortgage Disclosure Specialist:

  • Prepare and send the initial disclosure package, including the Loan Estimate, within required timeline, for all types of loans Conventional, FHA, Purchase, etc

  • Responsible for Initial Loan Application Review and Change of Circumstance (CCR) re-disclosure process.

  • Work directly with Loan Originators, Processors, Underwriters, and Closers & Management.

  • Communicate with production team members to validate fees associated with the presented mortgage transactions to ensure disclosures are delivered with the correct fee amounts

  • Ensure that all information and documents are accurate, and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company policy

  • You will work from Department checklists, but must be able to make proper decisions when presented with atypical compliance situations


Requirements of the Mortgage Disclosure Specialist:

  • 1 year of Processing or Closing experience is preferred but not required

  • 2+ years of prior administrative/Office experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required

  • Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle detailed assignments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
